Visura’s recent survey of 300 directors at multinational firms with UK operations shows that while 84% feel prepared for the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act’s identity verification rules, just 9% have completed the process ahead of the November 18 deadline. On average, only 61% of directors and persons with significant control have finished verification.
Furthermore, merely 26% of respondents have confirmed the accuracy of Companies House records for their directors and PSCs, 20% have identified all individuals needing verification, and 22% have secured the necessary Companies House personal codes. Among UK‑based respondents, 86% claim readiness, yet none report full completion of verification for all relevant parties.
