Launch of DNS4EU: EU’s Privacy-Focused DNS Resolver

On June 9, 2025, the EU launched DNS4EU, a new public DNS service designed to strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty and improve privacy. Co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by ENISA, DNS4EU offers GDPR-compliant DNS resolution without selling user data or forwarding queries to non-EU entities.
