The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) is running a public consultation on the development of standard templates for organisations to use in GDPR compliance — including templates for privacy notices, records of processing activities, DPIAs, and breach notifications. The consultation invites organisations, trade bodies, and privacy professionals to contribute input on what templates would be most useful. Feedback will be considered in future EDPB guidance development.
This initiative demonstrates an EU effort to provide more practical compliance tools, reduce uncertainty, and drive harmonization in GDPR implementation across Member States.
